Veterinary Pharmacy Mistake Kills 21 Horses in Olca, Florida
Franck's Pharmacy in Ocola, Florida appears to have made a mistake in a pharmacy order that killed 21 champion polo horses over the weekend, according to the Associated Press. The horses were scheduled to play in a championship match, but a mistake was made at Franck's pharmacy that delivered an innapropriate dosage of an unreported ingredient. According to a report at Fox News, the pharmacy is cooperating with an investigation being conducted by the FDA.
